Samsung has recently introduced a new touch screen cell phone in their vast family of cell phones, the Samsung S5620 Monte. Loaded with new innovate features and flexible functionalities, the Samsung S5620 Monte provide users with user-interactive environment for mobile computing.

The Samsung S5620 Monte features a 3.0 inches TFT touch screen with 256k colors and having screen resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. The phone has a built-in accelerometer sensor for automatically adjusting the screen mode. Samsung S5620 Monte also comes with advanced features like Turn to mute, Smart Unlock and TouchWiz UI 2.0 plus.

Capture your precious in form of high resolution images and videos with the 3.15 mega pixel camera of Samsung S5620 Monte that supports features like Geo-tagging and smile detection. The images captured feature a high resolution of 2048 x 2536 pixels and video recording of type QVGA at 15 frames per second. The phone also comes with a frontal camera for easy video conferencing.

The Samsung S5620 Monte is loaded with the following specifications and key features

  • Internal memory of 227 MB which can be expanded up to 16GB via microSD card slot
  • Bluetooth version 2.1 with A2DP and microUSB v2.0 connectivity for rapid wireless and wired data transfers
  • Audio/ Video player and Stereo FM Radio with RDS for gateway of non-stop entertainment
  • Pre-installed and Downloadable games
  • GPRS and EDGE both of class 10 and 3G with HSPDA 3.6 Mbps
  • Social networking integration with live updates, Google maps and A-GPS support

The Samsung S5620 Monte has a long lasting battery with a stand-by time of Up to 769h in 2G / Up to 454h in 3G and talk time of Up to 9h 42 min in 2G / Up to 4h 58 min in 3G. The phone was announced by Samsung in Feb 2010 and is expected to hit the markets by Second quarter of 2010. Officially, the price of the phone has not been declared yet.
